We are a private members club, offering membership to residents of Kingsholm Square and Edwy Parade, Gloucester.
Join the club and play tennis, get some free coaching, meet your neighbours and make new friends. Or simply come, sit and enjoy this beautiful space, just on your doorstep.
The courts have a long and interesting history. They are set on what is believed to be part of the site of a Roman military fortress, built in 40-50 AD. A Saxon fortress also stood on the site and it is believed that it was close to here that in 1085 King William I commissioned the Domesday Book.
There have been tennis courts in Kingsholm Square for over 100 years.
This is so much more than a tennis club! It's also a great focal point for our community, offering an opportunity for residents to meet, not only for a game or two but also at our annual summer events.
